Just a pity I can't remember what I have planted where, I know there is a load of Tulip and Allium bulbs in their somewhere - guess I will find out when they flower.

Small Things

Birthday Fridge Magnets
Originally uploaded by Elfleda.

Its the small things in life that can make you happy, and small things that make me smile are good fridge magnets.

When I visit places I look out for the tackiest fridge magnet I can find, the ugliest touristy ones they are the ones I will buy.

I have now got my fridge positioned so all three magnetic sides are available for decoration, this side is reserved for the interactive magnets and these are my new birthday magnets I got this week - ransom note letters - also displayed is my Michael Fish weather magnets - I had to wait months for these to come back in stock at I want one of Those, but good things come to those who wait.

One of my favourite spots of the Gardens

One of my favourite spots of the Gardens
Originally uploaded by Elfleda.

I had a new camera delivered on Friday so took it to the Botanic Gardens on Sat to see what it could do - as I could always send it back if I didn't like it.

This camera isn't going any where, the facility to shot panoramas without the need to stich photos together is fantastic and with all the other cool things it can do, plus shoot at 12MP, I love my new Fuji Finepix 300EXR

Under the Sea

Under the Sea
Originally uploaded by Elfleda.

I could pretend for a while that I had left cold and snowy England and was on holiday on a tropical island swimming with the cast of Finding Nemo. Then I had to bundle up and leave Newquay Aquarium!!

Hopefully a sign of spring

Originally uploaded by Elfleda.

The snowdrops are out at Anglesey Abbey. I am hoping that they herald the arrival of spring as I am so sick of winter.

Thank God it has all gone

Stomp
Originally uploaded by Elfleda.

I am offically over snow - it's is fine when it falls, looks pretty for a couple of hours and then melts, and this is even better when it falls on a weekend, but when we get snow like we had this year that just refuses to go away we in the UK - and by UK I mean mainly the south of the UK - become the laughing stock of Europe for the way the entire country grinds to a halt.

Thankfully it has now all gone and fingers and toes crossed that it does not decide to return for a sneeky late Feb comeback.

Priceless

Photo - Danny Lawson/PA

Just spotted on the Guardian Website a picture of Nick Griffen of the British National Party sitting in front of the Union Flag. Unfortunatly for them the flag is hanging upside down, a sign of distress. Priceless.
